IHSS Care Provider Vaccination Information
The public health order issued by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) requires IHSS providers to be fully vaccinated or boosted with the COVID-19 vaccine as of March 1, 2022. Information regarding the notice can be found here. It is the responsiblity of the IHSS consumer to ask for the vaccine information of their provider. Providers do not need to send vaccine information to IHSS or the Public Authority.
Vaccinations are readily available at drop-in clinics, pharamcy/healthcare providers or via the County Health System. Go here to get more information or book at appointment.

IHSS Care Recipients and Providers Can Request Masks and Gloves
As
part of the COVID pandemic response, Public Authority Services (PA) has
received a limited quantity of Essential Protective Gear (EPG),
consisting of masks and gloves, from the State. To request a small kit of masks and/or gloves, complete the online Emergency Protective Gear Request form.
